Zahkia's love for music and entertainment began at an early age. As a young child, she was always singing and creating songs that came to her. At the age of 4, she had her first performance dancing with a local tap, jazz, and ballet dance group. As she got older, her love for the arts carried her to perform at talent shows and school events for her peers. Her love of music continued to flourish, and as a teen, she wrote poetry and began acting in a drama class. After high school, she continued her education, attending college and studying music, earning her a music degree in Jazz Studies with an emphasis in voice performance. She is currently writing/co-writing original music with other artists, while traveling and performing at numerous events and venues along the west coast.
